Exploring App Development

Hi people! Welcome back to the blog! I hope you people are doing fine and I think so is me. So in recent months I came up with this amazing thing called App Development. Like I literally dreamt of making an app from grade 11.I literally took up engineering just to make an app. I know that sounds funny and bad but Yes I did!

So I had these amazing seniors who helped get into the team. Well, I did not really had any prior experience into the field but they were like super cool an they helped me get through all that and also not to forgot the ones that worked with me! Seriously they helped a lot and still do!

Well let’s get back on track! Yes App Development it’s interesting like building apps that we have been using. Umm Yes I could feel like something of a software engineer. But sadly that is not my first choice!

So during the project we worked with React Native that is an open source UI software created by Meta. The language is awesome and is mostly based on Java script and React. Like if you one of the languages that is React or Java Script you are good to go with React Native. If you don’t want to go with React Native then Flutter is also good to go with. Like I haven’t really done Flutter so I can’t compare the two languages. But what I have heard of is Flutter can be good substitute for React native.

So to brief you people about my project it was about building an app and taking information from user about their carbon consumption. So the app consisted of various questions like are they vegetarian, what mode of transport do they use and like many others too. The purpose of building this app was to work with API’s and gather information about the carbon consumption. Like we should definitely care about the environment.
